Stillness

Body is still.

Gaze is lowered or eyes are closed.

Sitting with the support of the chair or rollator.

Hands are resting, palms up or down, or interlaced together on my lap.

Listening to the different sounds. Within the house itself and outside.

Creaks and bird calls. Vehicles leaving for their destination or heading home. School buses along with garbage/recycling trucks pressing on their air brakes.

Following the inhalation and exhalation of my breath. Using it as my anchor.

Body is still.
