counseling style
My counseling style is a warm, person-centered, nonjudgmental, integrative approach. This is for healing, change, observation, action, and connection to self and others.
All of us experience struggles and suffering in our lives. The focus is acknowledging what is happening in your life while working towards change from a place of compassion. Focusing on your strengths, building upon those strengths, and helping you to move towards the values are important to you.
approach
There are many modalities for many people. Because well, we are all different. No two people are the same. Each person and situation has a uniqueness and needs to be treated respectfully.
I approach counseling by collaboration between the therapist (myself) and you (the client) in a safe space. You grant permission for me to be on this journey with you. Therapy is individualized to the person I am working with; not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Observing what you are dealing with from a multifaceted perspective; not only in parts. Meeting you where you are and working together towards insight and understanding. Finding the strategies that fit your lifestyle so you can find ease from the suffering you encounter while observing and building upon your strengths.
